Default Meth system question

I have the Alky control meth kit. I was wiring it up tonight and i noticed the purple wire. it says most wont wire this up but for some that not familar with this wire. it says it kills the Map signal to the controler when grounded. they say to use a momentary switch to ground the pac so your not spraying meth while on the staging line trying spool the turbo.

now my question is anyone actually using this feature on their kits?

Nope, I let it spray while brake stalling it.

I wired mine up to my brake light switch. I am not sure if I needed to or not but I can brake it up past 7 psi boost at 3000 rpm on the stock GM converter in front of my 4L80E. If you do not find that you are bogging out a little when you brake stall then you can probably get by without it wired up. You may find the turbo will spool more quickly with it wired up and it is not hard to do.
