heres where I put mine. Where im holding it is where it goes into the tb.

I said its goin to be, it isnt at the moment.
Mounting the W/A Intercooler between the water pump and electric fans. So total piping might be 20"?

Look at the last few post. you will see a setup similar.

Thinking about running my Intercooler like this
i like that setup, missed that thread somehow

Its an M10 and M15
thats a lot of meth. i'm going w/ the stainless lines too, don't trust the plastic ****. single 14 nozzle should be all i need tho.

See, this stuff sparks a ton of debate It honestly depends on where you want the heat pulled out. For me, I don't want all the heat absorbing ability of the methanol completely diminished before it enters the cylinder. Really depends on how you want to use it, though.

Well, you want the highest temp you can get after the ignition event to produce the highest cylinder pressure. If its before, then you get pre-ignition. If not all of it is vaporized when ignition starts then some of that energy is going into vaporizing the methanol lowering the total sensible enthalpy, which is not harmful, its just inefficient.

Heres another pic.

I agree its a lot of meth, but big power needs a lot of fuel.

It's ambient cylinder heat and compression that vaporizes the methanol, and with a lot of power, extra control of cylinder heat is huge.. It would be vaporized before ignition, just not prior to entering the cylinder. What potential energy loss there is from having to heat methanol in the cylinder is more than overcome by the power you can gain from a cooler cylinder prior to ignition. Thats part of why guys like foose can make so much power on so few cubes, E85 is keeping it cool all the time

Ethanol has a higher heat of vaporization then methanol, and therefore has more of a cooling effect. The main benefit from methanol is the octane rating, not the cooling effect. What happens prior to ignition is irrelevant as long as you don't have detonation.
