I put mine on primarily to increase boost and keep IAT's/KR under control. If u don't have an IAT/KR prob as boost goes past 10lbs, I wudn't think u need it. I'm running 100% meth, so whatever kit u buy make sure its got hose for that in case u were planning on running WW fluid. R/

I dont see any cons really that would even get close to outweighing the pros of having a meth kit, lower IATs means more power. Im running the snow meth stage one kit

pros no cons meth cools your IATs which could prevent timing from being pulled. It reduces Knock. It also acts as a fuel catalyst allowing you to run more timing due to hight octane. On a FI setup this could be a possible 40+ hp gain

with boost meth gives a little added assurance angainst detonation, increases octane and cools slightly. The disadvantage is a need to have your meth tank filled and the complexity of another system with potential for failure.

AlkyControl is the kit i use.

If u run 100% meth the only con is that if u run out of meth, or ur pump fails and u go into boost or ur tuned aggressively (meth at lo boost), then BOOM! Fact is ur not that likely to run out of meth, especially with the Alky kit as it uses the washer reservoir, but these pumps do fail on occasion. Haven't had any probs with Alky, but I had a snow before and it did fail. Like trevor said, its another system to be maintained, and tuned. 40+hp...maybe under certain circumstances as it wud allow for more boost and timing...R/

go stage 2 its never bad to go big. Kinda like the Aeromotive eliminator fule pump im buying. I dont need that much pump but I will eventually

on a side note i have a 12v LED light on my pillar pod that runs to the power wire from the progressive controller to the pump. This allows me to see if the pump is actually pumping fluid under wot. If i dont see that light i get out of the throttle. Just for safety sake i guess
