Meth ?
#1
Ok I have a meth kit and I now the hole purpose of one is to boost your oct. and lower your IT so you can run more Boost but it's 100 degrees out side and even at night it's still hot + my meth tank is under my hood and is heating up even more from the engine's heat.
so my ? is has any one used a very cold mix of water and meth in to see if it would help at all I'm thinking of going to the track and running one time with it the out side temp. and then pull the meth and water out of my cooler that will be around 50-60 degrees to see if it will run a few 1/10 of a second faster.
and for daily hot roding putting in some ice cubes
think it would help?

I don't think the temp. of the meth has anything to do with it. The cooling affect is when it vaporizes. I'm sure someone else will be able to explain this better. also if you put ice in the meth you won't have a consistant ratio of meth and water.

have you ever put alcohol on your skin and felt how cold it gets when it evaporates? It doesn't matter what temp the alcohol is when it goes on, it still feels cold when it evaporates. Same concept when you mist it into the intake. You may see a difference with colder meth, but I bet it would be insignificant.

Cold meth might let you run a little more timing, but I don't think it would be worth the trouble. but thats me. If you think it will help, try it. Just let us know how much if at all it helps.
