It made 369hp can't remember tq but it was close to hp on a dyno jet when I had it tuned a few years ago. Only changes from then to now are: ditched the 5:13 geared 1 ton axles for 6.72 geared 2.5 ton axles and I ditched the 80e with stock 5,000,000# converter in favor of a th400 with a 10" 2400 stall converter.
Also that pull was in 2nd gear because doing 3rd gear pulls on the dyno was scary as hell! I just knew one of my three home built driveshafts was gonna sling out and go right thru a bunch of nice cars on either side of the dyno.
In short 369hp pulling in 2nd gear. That was on dyno friendly 38" tires but the truck runs 44" tires and occasionally a set of 49" tractor tires.

Anyone know where to find a phenolic manifold spacer? I sent Supersub a pm but he hasn't logged in since early December. I also read that he may not be milling these anymore? Did he have the market cornered?

Ok I've sent a few emails and will wait and see if I get responses. Sent one to Ray (Supersub) asking about a phenolic spacer. If not, I'll buy a sheet and make one myself.
Sent one to wcch asking about a 90mm tb flange. If not, I'll just modify my existing flange.
Sent one to Joe @ Leftcoast asking if he doesn't offer RIP cut pulleys for the j tube Radix because of decreasing popularity or prohibiting factors. If I can't come up with something here, ill order a regular pulley and have a machine shop mill the grooves for me.
I looked up Tim Z and it looks like his pulleys came from Joe anyways.
Waiting on a shipping confirmation on my 90mm tb still. Thanks everyone for the help so far. Next will be injectors. 2.8" blower pulley, std crank pulley for now, cam?(vortec350ss), tri y lt headers with straight thru open race mufflers(open headers) and e85. Need to be able to rev to 6800ish.
How do I go about landing on an injector flow rate?

For injectors, give Jon at Fuel Injector Connection a call. Tell him your goals, setup and he will tell you exactly what you need. He modified a set of drop in injectors from Ford Racing with the flow rate and spray pattern I needed for my Tahoe to run E85. Great guy to deal with.

back to searching for a RIP cut 2.8.
