max boost for pump gas in hot weather

Default max boost for pump gas in hot weather

im running 10 right now, but i kinda want to up it a little bit more... maybe 14 or so.. what would be a safe number to turn it up to before it starts giving me problems on pump gas?? .. i have a forged bottom end also

ya thats the better question^ along with IAT control and how aggressive your IAT timing table is.

Im sure it gets hotter where you are but SilveradoL33 ran his L33 with 13lbs on pump gas with no meth and it was fine.

I dunno what your compression is and the like but Im sure with a good tune you could run up around 14lbs. Especially if you run meth.

yeah we need to know compression. pump gas but what octane in your area.

as much stuff as you have broke and burnt u still havent learned!
With the heat we been having 97-103 degrees you better leave it alone.
High IAT with an agressive timing table will definately nip another piston unless u add meth to drop IAT temps.
Your tuner has been known to tune them HOT and aggressive

One more thing, after talking with another knowlegable LS person ,

We discussed, why do people put all this time time and money and hard work into a setup and them cheap out on fuel?????

If your worried put some 100 + octane in that thing in case of detonation.
