Default Manual boost controller (Where???)

I am looking to buy a manual boost controller for my STS kit. If you know of a place that sells one that will pick up the phone or call someone back let me know. I want a new sts 0-15 psi controller.
Thanks

Enough of this 5.5 psi crap. Time to step up!

I use the ole Ebay special on my 10 sec Grand National also. I gave around $12-$15 for it and it works like a champ--28 psi all the time on pump gas/alky.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but aren't they just pressure regulators like for a compressor? $12 sounds good to me.

There are really two different type. One is basically a bleeder that is a pressure regulator that bleeds off the boost signal before the wastegate sees it so it tricks the wastegate into giving you more boost. The other is a spring/ball type of set up that originated from the www.thedodgegarage.com (make sure you check out the vids of the Plymouth K car running mid 10's!)website that is commonly known as the "grainger valve". The spring/ball type of set up basically blocks the boost signal from the wastegate until you reach the desired boost so that the wastegate stays completely closed until the desired boost then opens suddenly instead of opening gradually as you approach your boost setting. Both work, but I prefer the spring/ball type of set up because it does give you a quicker spool up. The spring ball set up has been used for over 20 years and works well and is cheap and reliable.

Look at a Turbonetics Boost controler and then look at your small Home air compressor regulator. Ebay FTW on this one.

I looked on ebay and there are like 300 listings. I was gonna buy a sts one so I'd have a proven unit but thanks and I'll buy a 12 dollar controller for my baby I'll look again. Thanks

The one I have on my Buick is made by Vodoo Boost or something similar to that. I am sure they are all pretty much the same and mine working flawlessly.
