I put the 224/230 114 XER comp cam in my truck with a Roush charger...sounds awesome at idle...recommend a TC with that cam....kept my stock TC for now...08 5.3L

recommended change the following out: the lifers if u have DOD, springs and push rods..its alot of work to get the lifters out i know i did it my self...but well worth the piece of mind

I ran a fairly mild cam on my MP112 5.3L Tahoe, 206/212 115LSA. I was seeing ~11PSI.

I'm running a Leading Edge Performance blower cam. I'm seeing 16psi with a 2.8" pulley and TVS2300.

I second on that cam.

Also for the other replies after this one...with the cams you are running or ran what kind of power did you make vs the amount of pressure just curious.

What pulley? Mods, esp, exhaust?

OP, I would love to see a comparison between a LS6, GT2-3, a 212/218 & a Vinci Trucker. All on a 112 Radix. I wonder if anyone has done this?

Isn't the trucker cam a little bigger than the others? It's probably a safe bet to say it is capable of making a little more power than the others. But hey, it lacks the "magic" of the gt2-3. The LS9 cam is going to supplant the GT cam in the magic department pretty soon. And you know never to discount the magic.

2.9" pulley, LTs, Corsa Touring were the main mods
