Question

Call me stupid, but what is the magna volt for?
Two more question, who sells those idler pulleys? I'm buying them.
Who sells the the new 90mm J-tube and 90mm Tb as a bolt-on and go application?

Jim

1. The Magna-Volt increases the Volts DC to 17VDC and ups the amps to 20amps when your above 3000rpm and 3psi boost, which helps the fuel pump maintain fuel pressure at high demands ( it helped me to keep my fueling / AFR's consistent, it appeers that the Magnacharger supplied pump is good for stock 7 to 8psi applications, but I running 10 to 11psi with an AFR of 11.5 to 11.8 )

2. I picked up my 100mm idler pulleys from RPMOutlet.com

3. I got my 90mm TB / J-tube complete bolt-on kit from richard @ WCCH,
the kit comes with everything needed to do the swap.

Question

I noticed you have an adjustable idler pulley bracket. Will I need it as well?
Also, I'm ordering a crank pin kit from Magnacharger, do I need to order a shim from them for the different idler pulleys I will be ordering? I've heard of this, but I'm not 100% sure what I need.

No you don't need the New style bracket, but it makes belt sizing with different pulley's much easier.

Yes you will need another shim, I had the machine shop next door make one for me.

BTW call RPM Outlet for those 100MM metco pulleys for the ford Lighting that’s what fits the Radix.

I was told that the Magnavolt is not needed with my kit. Magnacharger said it is for the SSR, GTO's, Corvette's, and ect. They said that those cars do not get a fuel pump upgrade so instead they include the Magnavolt with those kits to increase fuel pump and injector voltage.
They may not know of all my mods though.
Just stating what they told me though.

Jim, They are correct, its not needed unless you have modded your truck enough to loose fuel pressure on a WOT pull then its needed.
