No need, the outcome would be the same.

I would be interested in seeing a comparison between the Mag and an STS.

those numbers are to be expected. the only benifits i see to a centrafugal supercharger i see are they are often cheaper and for high hp guys you can get bigger head units than the mp112. with the larger compresors that kb, whipple and magna are coming out with i dont see much reason to consider a centrafugal even for the high hp guys.

a sts and front mount comparison would be sweet to see. didn't hot rod do something like this not long ago?

Hey Brian,

Which vehicles were stock 5.3's in? (I know it's not of much importance, just curious) No sign of any belt slip at 6500rpms? Why the lag in the 112's boost at 5500 to 5900 (and 4800 to 5300). It looks like the boost starts to settle then take off again. Normal? Just curious, no experience with dynos here.

these tests were preformed on a SuperFlow engine dyno, no cars....no exhaust restrictions, different loads. This test was done on and equal level between both superchargers, this is the ONLY way to prove that one is better than the other. What I find interesting is the HP numbers, they are the same......Just shows you that engine size/boost level will almost always be the same +/- at certain boost levels. These tests were preformed with like sized superchargers, it would not have been a "fair" comparison with a F1-R and the MP112, However the future could be a different story.

Stand by for more interesting tests.
