Default Maggie guys..... Fueling?

Okay guys, I should be installing the TVS1900 on my 2006 SS LQ9 within the next few weeks and was wondering what is the best way to get more fuel to it. I will be running a 3.2" pulley and corsa catback and thats pretty much it along with the tranny mods I already have done. Should I just use the magnavolt or should I swap the actual fuel pump? I have personally had a walbro that died and have heard of many others with problems from their walbro, so I am really thinking the magnavolt is the way to go. Anyone have any advice? Thanks guys....Sam.

When I did mine, I installed the Magnavolt. If I were going to do it again, I wouldn't. I'd just install the Walbro kit from Magnacharger. Magnavolts always tend to fail much more then the Walbros.

If you ordered a brand new kit then it should come with the fuel pump. If not then order the pump kit from magnacharger. The magna volt or similiar will burn up your pump faster and is another part that can fail. I run the 2.9 pulley with the magnacharger pump that came in the kit with no problems.

Sounds like you got a Chinese Walbro knock off. I never ever had a problem with a genuine Walbro, and ever sense this knock off stuff that is all you ever here. Buy one from a reputable shop, do not price shop on these period.
