So say i keep my MAF, run the stock os and 1 bar at 6psi max, would that be alright? Can HP tune that correctly?

 

Yes you can do that. That's basically where I'm at now. I've almost maxed the MAF at 6psi. The MAF table in the tune ends at 12000 Hz, and I've gotten up to 11850 Hz. But I'm not sure what happens when you get above 12000. My tuner says it takes a lot to max the MAF even when you're close to 12kHz. The flow rate to MAF frequency relationship is exponential, not linear. There is also a limit of 512 g/s which is a limit of the PCM not the MAF.

This is all still pretty new to me so hopefully someone can chime in.

 

I always had a issue with the AFR goin rich with the MAF tuning.. so i took it off and went 2 bar OLSD and dialed it in perfect thru out the whole boost/rpm range. never looked back

 

I actually need to see where my Maf readings are. I do know I'm hitting 512 g/s at 4500 rpm at 6 psi.
