Default Maf Maxed?

I need to know what happens when the maf is maxed out?
I have a scan gauge and it looks like it pegs out at 67.72 lbs/m
but I don't have any codes showing.

Well I figured it out 67.72lbs/m =512 grams/s max ecm airflow.
So Its been sd time for me for a while.I have been maxing this thing out since the intercooler install at 7lbs.Today put the smaller pulley on and put me bout 10-11 psi then I really noticed somthin wasn't right.Still had enough to put a spankin on a srt-8 on the freeway with the windows down. The look on his face was pricless.

I would just go with 2 or 3 bar SD on your setup personally
Good luck with it

Does anyone know around what hp level the ecm maxes at meaning air through the maf?
I am trying to find out if bigger injectors are needed also.

What type of blower do you have?

A kind of rule of thumb equation that works decent is that 1 lb/min of airflow = 10 flywheel hp for blown setups. It seems to be very close on the vehicles I've used it on.

The only setup that seems to be off on that calc are prochargers. They seem to show more airflow then the amount of hp they should be making. Honestly, it might be other setups also but, I haven't really paid much attention. I know that formula seems to be decently accurate on the radix vehicles I've seen.

What do you have done to your 4.8L? 512g/s at 7psi seems pretty wild.

Do the math for me John - when I hit the limit of the MAF, it flatlines at 67.71 Lbs/Min. Does that seem right?

Math for what? Are you hitting the limit in the TBSS already?

Just a 2.3l whipple with a air to air intercooler.Crank pulley 6.5/snout 3.375 for 7psi.
now on 2.875 snout for 10-11. The crank pulley is not pinned yet but definitely on the to do list.
On 7psi it would only max out the maf right up top 6100 or so.
Funny thing is the motor has the rev. limit at 6200 but pulls higher problem was when I had it tuned it was running out of fuel up top.Rick lowered the rev limit so I wouldn't blow it up.When the truck was n/a it would rev up to 6400 no problem after the install of the blower things changed cause of the fuel pressure problem.
I think the fuel problems fixed but really not sure cause when I go wot fuel pressure jumps to around 70 lbs. then backs off to 62 lbs. but holds through the entire run. This is with 10-11 lbs does that sound right to anyone.
Also something to note is before the intercooler install boost was 9.5-10 lbs.

A 3.375 pulley only gave you 7psi on a 4.8L?

EDIT - must be the two best setup. Didn't catch the lower pulley diameter.
