Did you ever figure out what was causing the lean stumble?

HPT is a worthwhile investment.

I know I'm just being cheap. lol It would probably pay for itself just for the data logging capabilities.

Hey, what size throttle body are you using?
I switched from back from my ebay 90mm to the stock 78 truck and the stumble went away. It still spikes lean when I crack the throttle but I guess it helped it enough to get rid of the annoying stumble.

Yea the logging alone is worth it when your running a setup that can easily take out a piston. Sometimes your getting detonation and don't hear it. A lot of tuners think becaus it runs it is right and not even close to optimized where being able to log comes in for sure. If u end up with it I can help you on the tune. So many things need to change from a major setup to blown for fueling it can easily get a lean stumble and if not working with logs you will pull your hair out trying to fix it. A lazy tuner will always blame what they cannot fix on a mechanical issue. The easy way out really.

I can agree with that. I had a big name shop in mooresville NC tune mine. And I'll just say I was not happy with it. So hopefully someplace will have a sale for the holidays and I'll grab it. Is the hp tuners pro version absolutely needed?
