Default LS9 cam for a blown 6.2?

I believe I have seen a few people who have done this. Can I get some feedback, or possibly some torque curves from those who have gone with an LS9 cam over their stock cam?

I may have the cam fall into my hands in a week or two. I'm curious how much it would help/hurt the daily driving and performance of the 6.2L.

Agreed! X3

Therefore the reason to consider going with a cam from a blown 6.2L motor (LS9) instead of the stock cam from a non-blown truck motor (L92).

Seeing that a truck benefits from power in a different revolutions per minute (rpm) range than say, a ZR1 corvette, I presented the question to a forum environment.

the gen IV tech is more in the cars...ie more info on ls1tech our sister site. The ZR1 is set up for top end speed in a light car.

Why not get a cam for your application instead of a hand me down cam? Instead of going to the trouble of putting in a cam you might not like......get the right cam once

Just installed the LS9 cam in a 2010 Camaro. Should have dyno numbers (baseline and test) on Monday afternoon.

I'm interested in the before and after dyno results.

Yes, know this is an old thread. Curious how this went and couldn't find your results.
