Default LS6 Head Gasket Question

I was wondering how much boost has people but to the LS6 gaskets with head studs. On a 6.0L on the street? Thanks

I don't think very many people run LS6 gaskets at all. I wouldn't expect it to be much better than standard GM MLS gaskets. With studs you could probably boost it to 16-17psi without trouble. LS9's are a much better option for boost.

I hope not if anything it will be the rearend, I have a built T400 behind it and the motor was just rebuilt, But do any of you guys have alot of piston slap?

Nothing special about the ls9 gasket....its same as the ls3 gasket.

both are .051but different bore size 4.100 vs 4.080

The relevant difference is in the extra layers of the gasket. GM probably engineered it with boost in mind

well in regards to the LS6 gaskets......21 pounds on my LS6 with studs and unported LS6 heads as well and didn't lift the heads. Pump gas and meth.
