i was told it was attainable. i have a very similar build only its a 6.0, s475, single 450 on pump + meth. see how far one pump carries me on the 80's.

Just to add to what everyone else already said...I dialed in a blown 427 yesterday with Ford 80's...had to set the rev limiter low and tell the owner to order ID1300's as we saw 100% duty cycle at 58 PSI on a boost referenced return system at 736 RWHP through a stick...turning a blower is a little less efficient, but going through a stick shift is more efficient...but either way, 80's are not enough injector...they're also not as consistent at idle as some of the more expensive injectors available are...go with what you can afford, but don't go with 80's as they'll hold your power back.

If you plan to run E85 often/a lot...some injectors are better for longevity than others. So look into that too.

I will say I went with ID1300'S and love them. My main reason I went with them is because I was having issues with other injectors, and they have all stainless internals. I swap back and forth between pump gas and E85 quite regularly and the stainless internals are perfect for that. I also think there is a Bosch injector that has the all stainless internals. Real good injectors are going to cost you. I will say when my truck is idling, it is spot on. My AFR is absolutely perfect when I have all the fuel trims disabled.

With that said, most people don't need to run injectors like this. I would suggest for you to use something that has been proven to work. Call up injector companies and tell them what you want to do. You more than likely don't need a set of injectors that are spot on unless you don't mind spending the money. Just don't get the Bosch 160lb natural gas injectors.
