Default LS2 Intake/Throttle Body Seal ?

With respect to modifying the Radix inlet tube for the 90mm LS2 TB, does anybody know the dimensions of the groove for the seal(green/blue in pic) in the TB flange on the OEM LS2 intake(depth, width, inner or outer diameter)?

TIA

I decided to just use the Loctite 510. If it's good enough to seal the J tube to the body of the Radix then it should seal the throttle body to the J tube. Right?? ... I hope. My J tube is being machined as we speak. Wonder if the flange that Blown & Moregrip are having constructed will have the groovef?

That thought did cross my mind as well. Just want to determine whether it is possible to also do the OEM style groove while the j-tube is being machined anyway.

When I ordered my 90mm TB they said that it had the groove and the round gasket in it.

I think that the OEM seal is necessary because of the plastic intake/aluminum TB. I decided it wasn't worth the trouble. The flange will be machined nice and straight anyway.

I'll let you know about the stall and tranny when I get my J-tube back and the one fuel line fitting that I have been waiting for since January.

The 2 bar MAP is GM part # 12580698. Shows as for 2004 supercharged Buick Regal and Park Avenue.

Hmmmm. Mine didn't. The part that Richard is making and which is pictured in moregrips thread has the groove machined in the new flange. So, you may want to order the LS2 gasket?

Shouldn't there be a groove in both the TB and the new flange?

The TB is flat, you would need to machine the inlet flange for the gasket if you were going to use it.
