Wow this sucks, but the thing I can't believe is that you have not blown up your stockish tranny...

 

I'm sure it's days are numbered, especially with a 5.7L coming....

The new roommate Mike (64CAMINO) is a curse! Every time he rides in one of our trucks it breaks!!!

 

Makes me a little happy that i didnt give him a ride in mine after the swap!

Not too fancy, just some LQ9 rods and some forged pistons. I was going to use that kit, but several people told me not to use the speed pro pistons. I think I found a deal on some Mahle pistons for not much more. I have a set of 317 heads with yellow springs on them I think will get me right where I want to be with comp and flow pretty well. Should be a nice, stronger then stock replacement engine

 

I wish they would have, I wanted to break the tranny while shooting for 11's !!!

 

haha, dont worry kyle, the trans will probly die soon. Take mike for a run and it should take a dump btw, he's not riding in my truck till I get a bike cuz shes all I got for now

 

The way everyones luck is going right now, the trans will probably fail the day after the engine is done.

 

yep mine only lasted a few weeks with my 370..didnt even get to spray half the bottle
