Looking for more power
#1
Aloha, I have a 2008 V-MAX with 4l70E and the TVS1900 kit. I want more power, I got a 3.1 pulley (stock is 3.4) coming from LeftCoast32. Any suggestion on Mail Order tunes (I live in hawaii). Dont wanna go to crazy-looking for 500rwhp. Im happy with the TVS1900 just looking for more. What do u guys think?
Aloha for any imput!

Shoot! Maybe I should of went with a 3.0!. Im using my K&N FIPK metal box and Cone air filter with the TVS1900, u guys think the K&N flows enough air? Asking because my lightning had a way bigger filter

Your air filter should be just fine. The difference between a 3.1 pulley and the 3.0 isn't gonna be all that much.
Are you still on the stock cam? I'm guessing that you are. That would be the next thing I'd look into. Maybe a torque converter also.

Stock everything. OH its got a 12" bulletproof lift, 36X15.50X20 ATZ on 20X12 RBP Black 91Rs. I got rid of that stupid exhaust resonator after the muffler. Hows the GIBSON Stainless headers?

The Gibson headers are of good quality, but the gains will be minimal.
You should make a call to Yank, and a call to Circle-D. You'll learn alot, and I think that should be your next mod. Then a cam.

Well, the wheel & tire package is definately holding you back. They will rob alot of power. Any lighter wheel & tire setup will help, but may not be what you want for your truck. So, it is what it is.

Your best bet would be a local tuner, but if you don't have one, then I'd suggest using somebody who will work with you using datalogs. If you don't have a wideband yet, get one before you start changing the tune. A fuel pressure gauge and a boost gauge are also good to have.
Your stock fuel pump should be fine.
