Oh I wanted to mention I read that 0.5" ID is only good for 9 GPM...

If you want we can build you a custom one off unit. With 3/4 hose barb, or \an 10 or 12. Inlets 3" are fine.

I have to say the Meziere is probably the best IMHO just because I would want the system to be all -AN fittings and lines. (I use Edelbrock Russell Performance - have an account with them)

Great info so far!!! Thanks so much.

What I might end up doing is buy the Magnuson heat exchanger and either add -12 AN fittings...

just remember this too.. you don't want that high of a GPM I wouldn't go much over 20. If you run that little tiny intercooler instead of a radiator... you need the coolant to stay in the rad as long as you can to obtain the heat exchange. The faster the fluid moves the less efficient it becomes.

My .02 I would run a small radiator infront of your main radiator.. like the little 100 dollar afco alum ones for the sprint cars and drag cars run water wetter and denatured water. Run 3/4 inch lines for max volume and run the mez 20 gpm pump.

I have always wanted to do a a2w procharger for consistency and driveability. But I have never had the chance yet. Good luck!

I sell HIDs and such and don't want to remove 1/3 of my products from my truck.

Plus I love our fog lights. So that is why I am investigating other options.

And...to be different.

Honestly, the water-air heat exchanger from Magnuson is quite awesome. You can always add another one from Joe, or possibly add something in the 'fog light' area--where guys stuff the a/a IC's.

I would go with that one instead of a small radiator just b/c of ease of install. 100% bolt on with Magnuson's brackets.

Yes, I totally agree about the heat exchange, completely ties in with exposure and surface area!

Have you considered alcohol injection for cooling instead of the cooler?

Yes absolutely! The piping would be minimal.

My concerns would be exposure of the MAF and IAT sensor to meth / water.

I’m sure you could find a place for the spray nozzle, downstream from the MAF.

I have been using Meth for three years now and no sign of problems with the IAT.

Just added alcohol to my Camaro this past year. It already had a liquid to air after cooler, but the alcohol allows me to get by with 92 octane instead of the race gas @ 15 psi boost.
