Looking for forced Induction around $3k
#1
I've got a 2008 suburban with an Ly6 in it and am looking for either a complete turbo or supercharger kit.
I'm not picky as I will not be running massive boost, this is just a daily driven family hauler I wanted to have a little more jam in.
I know about the on3 kits but after reading a thread on installing one on a NNBS I'm not all that interested in it, given all the mods required and some issues that came up on that build.
I am open to a used kit but must be complete (fuel injectors, etc) bolt on and in good working order.I am looking for a kit that is specific to the 07-13 trucks so that there isn't any mods/fab required to make it work.
I have rectangle port heads so any TVS kits must be compatible.
I had the deal pretty much sorted out earlier today on another complete used kit but the seller got cold feet last minute. Now that I've been tempted I want to get something soon!
Let me know if you have or know of anything.
Thanks!

On a truck that is used the way you use it I think it's silly to go any other route than a Maggie. The thing is heavy as hell and it needs to be reliable as hell. No quirks, no added maintenance... Nothing. A Maggie is the power under the pedal you need.
Just my opinion of course... And I may be biased lol.

Looks like 2 votes got the KB kit! Lol
I would love a Maggie but I can't find anything used at the moment, please let me know if you know of anything.
That botched deal earlier today has given me a bad case of boost blue *****.

I was in the same boat as you. Keep looking. I picked up a tvs1900 kit for $3800 shipped. They pop up every now and then. The square port kits aren't as popular but they come up too.

I know that waiting for the right deal on a rectangle (?) port 1900 Maggie is probably the most responsible thing to do (shirt if not putting forced induction on my family hauler, lol).
Ill wait it out for a kit to come along.. If I can't find one by spring ill figure out if spending to buy a new Maggie is in the cards or or I jump and go turbo.
Regardless of what I get I'm pretty sure I want something intercooled.. The geek inside me couldn't handle having something not intercooled! Lol
Ill keep an eye out but if any one finds something please let me know and ill Paypal you a small finders fee if I buy the kit as a thank you.
