i have a 2002 5.3 avalanche with a 10 psi procharger.i found a lq4 6.0 motor that has 3 miles on it and would like to put it in my truck but i would like to know if the supercharger will damage the motor cause it is stock, or if anyone has any idea what i can do with this project of mine you can email me at bodycreationinc@aol.com thank you everyone Paul

Stock 5.3L @ 10+ #'s of boost

 

You will be fine just watch your boost and make sure the tune is dead on if your going to run alot of boost. Otherwise you could run a meth kit and you will be fine.

 

im with him ,i bought a 400 mile lq4 and been boosting all the time,10 plus lbs all the way .i do have meth tho .

 

The 6.0L should be able to handle everything that the 5.3L can handle.

 

No need to use the email here Paul, we share our information freely. Tuning is going to be the answer, the supercharger itself wont cause any damage.
Proper timing and A/F mix will be important.
