Livernois Turbo Kit

a F1 to t76 comparison should be interesting. i might have missed it but exactly what turbo did you order? if it is the standard t76 you will probably max that turbo out before 15psi, mine was maxed at 16psi and i had stock heads. if it is the gtq76 then i can't want to see how that works out for ya. i almost tried one of those.

it is the pt 76gts. Ya I couldnt make over 13#s with the F1R cause belt slippage. Then I got everything to do the twin 72 turbos, and backed out when everything came in because i wanted to drive it on the street, so I went with the single 76. We will see how long i keep this set up.

the problem with people thinking they can tow they will try and use the extra power and that is where the heat comes in. you can't stick an 8000lb trailer and try and hold 80mph up a mountain pass without melting some stuff.

Just got my Avalanche Dynoed and I am maiking 321HP and 402 TQ running 8lbs but, we still have some tuning tweaking to do... Good numbers though I think for a stock 5.3L motor and a 4x4 with 32.5x11.50 tires... The truck is a beast on the road though, a helluv-a lot of fun to drive!

I have had the kit(67mm hybrid) for 5 months the instructions left alot to be desired but I put it on in 16hrs Dan and Eric at Livernois were great! Now we are now changing some things and putting better heads on it. The only complaint I have is that the power kills transmissions like they are free...and they anit
. Working on converting the ss awd to a 80e with a push button t/c.. to keep this to a make the thing bulletproof. later Doug

My best et was 12.81 @109 the air was like 9200 ft corrected after that I made some changes to it and it picked up I was using a G-tech with great results. I'm a nitrous/carb guy so this is a little different but Alan Nelson has been a bunch of help. But I wasnt able to verify at the track. with the new heads and cam I think that it's gonna haul....I guess Eric talked to Dan and Harry is goin to build a 80 mm that will fit on my flange. I just have to gather some dough. Timing couldn't be worse I just bought new house and now I have to furnish it(Momma doesn't dig on lawn chairs in the family room) but I couldn't be happier with the finshed product. On the tranny deal what I would like to do is swap a 80e and a T/C but I have talked to several people about doing this and they **** their head sideways like my choclate lab when I yell squirel. So if some one has some input please let me know! thanks Doug
