If that's how your gonna build it with the reg out side the tank, I would not use the Corvette filter/reg, I'd just uses a regular return style reg AND boost reference it. You'll basically have a return system with a returnless fuel rail which will support quite a bit of power I believe.

Your diagram is a returnless setup, except from the regulator back is in the tank. If you are intent on running this setup, I would use bigger line from the regulator to the rails. The big advantage of a return setup is not all the fuel has to flow through the regulator - only the fuel thats not used, which at WOT, isnt much.

The stock lines and rails will support 1000 hp or so. Now the pump/injectors is a different story

the regulators im looking at only have -6 input/outputs. Do you think it would still be benificial to use adapter fittings to go up to a -8 line even though the regulators only -6.

yes because of the higher volume of fuel in the lines, but to be honest, I think it would be a waste. Just upgrade the pump until you are ready to convert to a return system.

Yes. The fuel system parts dont care if they are in a leaf blower or a ZR1, much less an f150 vs a silverado. All pumps, regulators, injectors, rails, etc., work exactly the same.
