[QUOTE=zippy;3930065]Is the L92 system using the same intercooler as the older MP112's? I remember seeing somewhere that they are available now, but I haven't gotten to play with one yet and really want to see what they can do. I was hoping that the new lower intake would have an intercooler similar to that of the LS9 which has an impressive intercooler system.
The Inlet Forward design is alot different then the Radix. The Intercooler we am using with the Inlet Forward MP122HH's is the biggest one we could fit in it. I was tuning Grip's Radix MP122HH at 10psi of boost and his runs real cool also. Remember that both of us are running dual heat exchangers installed in series.
I know the MP112's and MP122HH's I've worked with have had IAT issue's. I do understand that the front inlet, 90mm throttle body, and larger maf really help reduce restriction which gains you boost without the blower having to work so hard to get you there, but those kind of IAT's are just amazing for how fast yours must be spinning. Very cool.
The 90mm Throttle Body and 100mm MAF really help to reduce the vacuum in front inlet during WOT. I think it is more a combination of the Dual Heat Exchangers, Heads, Cam, Exhaust and less inlet restriction that help to reduce the temps.
