I was thinking about upgrading to the lt4 hpfp and injectors but I'm worried about the interface between the pump and the bottom of the whipple intake I keep reading about. What about just doing the lt4 injectors, or does it HAVE to be the lt1? Thanks!

This is a fellow member here and other forums that has already done the hard work for us. pmoore4321 and he has many vids on YT. He is an encyclopedia of info on Whipple L83's. The injectors would get you there but you'd probably regret being limited in the future. Doing a cam on these is way more work than clearancing the manifold so don't be afraid just do it. If I wasn't so bent on doing my twins on the '16 I would've done this long ago on my '14 however it is just my work truck. Really glad to see you do this build!

If you have the 2021 revision the whipple will clear the lt4 hpfp. I just finished the install on my 18’ 5.3 with no issue. If you upgrade the injectors and hpfp you will need a new fuel line and crossover pipe.

That's awesome news, I purchased my whipple in December of 2021 so I should be good! I purchased the lt4 hpfp, injectors, and lines! My whipple kit was delivered yesterday so I officially have everything! Whipple, 4.25 pulley, lt4 fuel system, BTR custom grind cam, lifters, pushrods, valve springs, phaser limiter, long tube headers, and 100mm throttle body! I hope it runs good!

Can anyone recommend a shop near st charles Missouri? I could do the supercharger no problem but I don't think I can do the cam. I was in a car accident so I can't get around very well anymore unfortunately!

i know this is alil old thread but can anyone confirm this? Just wondering as i was told in other threads you still have to shave to get the whipple to fit the lt4 hpfp unless you go with the expensive big bore pump.
