Keep breaking exhaust manifold bolts!!
Anyone have this problem. After a long day of driving and a lot of boost I keep breaking the head off a bolt on the exhaust manifold, usually the rear one. Sometimes the front. I switched to better material bolts but now im afraid of cracking a head or exhaust manifold. Any suggestions, maybe different gasket or something!!!!

Is your manifold a stocker or came with a kit?
Maybe it's expanding and contracting with heating and cooling and binding causing the stress thats cracking the fastners. You might want to lossen all the bolts and recenter the manifold or open some of the mounting holes slightly for more wiggle room.

Try Studs, ARP makes header studs for LS1's and that may help significantly
make sure that there is flex room in your IC piping like 1 hump hose so that the motor can rock and not tug on the turbo
