I own a landscape company and tow a 3,000lb trailer on a regular basis. So I was thinking about going with a 2800k stall. That is what the yank website recommended for towing anyhow. Thoughts?

Still not understanding what a trial blazer converter is. Is it just a type of torque converter, like a yank? I'll check around the forum but if someone wouldn't mind explaining that would be cool.
It is a stock converter out of a Trailblazer SUV, it has to be out of the right year model and engine size.

Im pretty sure it's for the I-6. It stalls higher in a V8 than it does in the !-6 thats why alot of guys use them, plus they are cheap.

sweet thanks for all the responses! I think that I am just going to save for the yank. Now I have to decide whether to go with the 2600 or the 3000. I do a lot of towing and I am not sure if the 3000 would work well for that application.

if you're going w/ a 2600...just get a TB verter...
save your money for a 3000 when you decide that you need more stall...if you ever do...

Where can I get a TB converter? How much are they usually? That really might be a good solution for me. Thanks.

any tranny shop should be able to order you one...
some require a matching core however...so a core charge may apply...
someone usually has one in the classifieds on this site or the silveradoss site...among others...

Sweet thanks, how do I know if I need a core swap and if the unit will fit on my truck? Newbie questions I am sure.
