You're gonna love it... You definitely get a quality product with Kyle. I'd run it on the 4.8 for a while myself so you can get the tuning and all under control then go to the bigger motor... I plan on a motor too in the near future.

Let me know if you've got any install questions. Ill be glad to help, or any questions about it for that matter. Mine is running great!!!

I'd personally stay with an auto trans but each to his own I suppose. I may go to an 80E next year... But this FLT is holding fine now with the 5.3 on low boost...

yeah thats what we were thinking with running it on the 4.8, that way we kinda learn on it rather than a brand new motor...the real reason Im goin with a T56 is because i have the NV3500 and shes already pretty tired, all moaning and groaning so i dont know how long she'll last...but what the hell, I already have the T56 so I'll do it one step at a time rather than doing a whole drivetrain swap...

BTW how many pounds of boost are you running with ur 5.3? also what do you tune with, HPT or EFILive? I'll def. get a hold of either u or kyle with any install questions...thanks for the support

(I knew there was a reason why i like this site so much)

I'm only running 6#s on my motor, its kinda tired too... I tune with HPT, but, if I would have known then what I do now, I would have gotten EFIlive.... Their COSs make tuning f/i much easier, and customizeable

thats what i was thinking as well...the motor has around 165k on it so not trying to sentence it to its grave just yet...lol but im glad to hear that you have HPT...thats what my friend has so i will def. be getting it contact with you as far as guide lines with the tuning aspect!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not expert by any stretch, but I have learned a lot. My motors got 130K but its been ran hard for the last 80K or so... Nitrous etc...

Ill be happy to share any of my HPT stuff...
