Default Just curious if anyone uses this...Or if we can?

Back in the 5.0 days of running Vortechs and such we used MSD- 6BTM's to use boost to retard timing at set intervals... So we could run high timing down low until boost comes in and retard it 1-2-3* per pound of boost... Well MSD has this unit pn# 8625 does anyone use it for better low-end out of boost or better 60's at the track?

•Adjust the timing with a simple twist!
•Advance the ignition timing up to 9°
•Select a step retard up to 18° for nitrous use
•Twist in a boost retard from .1° to 1.9° per pound of boost
•Available for GM LS1 and LS2 platforms, Chrysler Hemi and late model Fords

Since you need a tuning program or a tuner to change other things besides ignition timing, and you can and do retard the timing in boost with a tuning program, a one-trick pony like that would be redundant.
