I was thinking the same thing. Pretty sure a few people have stayed 6rib up front with a huge pulley but then messed with the rear pulleys to get it where they want.

thanks guys, overdrive it is. I want to keep the serp. belt out back. ill try 14 rib before id go cog. id like to avoid the noise of the cog drive, unless it will drown out the noise of the toyo M/Ts LOL.

I guess ill RIP drive them too. how much would that shorten belt life?

I don't know why people hate on the cogs... The sound is just menacing.

On a dd maybe I can see it... But a toy I vote the more the merrier.

Just for perspective, a 3.8" front with o/d rears = 3.27 front on a front drive TVS2300. That set up on a 2.3L blower would pump a similar amount of air as a 2.7" pulley on a front drive TVS1900.

Not much down side to using the bigger blower other than cost. It will still get into full boost stupid quick. The old "smaller blower is more resposive" arguement is way overplayed.
