Thanks for everyones input. I dicided not to polish it at this time. I want to get the J-tube in tomarrow (been waiting for a long time for this) and there isn't enough time to get it done before I want to install it. All I need to do now is go to Los Angles and get it Tuned and dyno'd. Maybe in the future I will pull it off and get it polished and have it dyno'd again and lay this to debate rest. But that is for another time.
Again thanks for your feedback

By all means, get that tube back on and enjoy your truck. I for one would be interested in a dyno comparison if you ever got around to polishing that J-tube.

I was lucky enough to be one off the first ones to order this. WCCH had about 3 J-tubes from Magnason. So they just shipped one out and I payed a core charge. When I swap it out I will send my J-tube back and he will do the conversion on that one and ship it to someone else.

Default Need some help

Well I went out to see how hard it was going to be to get the J-tube off. That is not going to be fun. Anybody have any tips or tricks to get those bolts off, especially the one on the bottom? What tools did you use. It's a very tight fit. Also I couldn't find what was recommended to use to seal the new J-tube at my local parts store is there anything else I could use that I can get at auto zone or some place like that.
So for all those that have taken their J-tubes off without taking SC off please help.
Thanks
Mark

there was a whole thread on this not long ago about sealer and getting to the bolts. Search JimS's threads.
