Yeah I was excited about this last year, but Magnuson will be horrible at their lead times. The insight I got from working at Eaton is that they will release LT engines first and the new stuff then SLOWWWLLYYY and I mean SLOWLY release for the older LS vettes and Camaros. But they will most likely miss the older truck/car platforms which is sad.

LT version. Obviously not the street version which will be underhood Heartbeat style.

Peak rpm is raised significantly. I suspect it’s going to behave like a hybrid roots/twin screw combo. I feel like based on the pictures I’ve seen it may combine the good from both designs. Whipples are much more RPM sensitive and you cannot overspending them anywhere close to what a roots will handle, so a 2.9 may be larger but peak airflow isn’t significantly greater then a tvs2300. However make a 3.0 that can be pushed like a roots and it’s gonna move some serious air. Idk. Just a thought.
I hope whipple makes something in a 3/4 rotor setup that I can get to fit my motor. By the time the 2650 is available I am sure there will be a lot more out there from other companies also. I guess we will see who still wants to get the backing of the LS community.

Whipple anyway makes their blower halves with the same mounting pattern, so changing the port pattern is only a matter of the lower manifold design and they can interchange easily.

Welll a lot of their new stuff is top discharge so that idea doesn’t hold true now from the looks of things.
