Default Intercoolers....

Gentlemen..I have the STS GT-67 set-up on my Silverado and the shop that did the install suggested I go with an intercooler. They just happened to have one from ATI ( which are two smaller ones that mount behind the hook and fog light openings in the front valence) in the at the shop and I ended up getting it for cost. It works great as I'm up over 420 horse but would I be better off with one bigger one in front? I realize that I would have to get rid of the stock bumper set-up in front but would this be worth it? Thanks in advance Mike

I think sticking the larger OBX up front would be better. All you need is a different airdam and to make a bracket and trim the framerails. I got the high flow one from a duramax and it works awesome and looks really well too. Cost me $52, but I get stuff at cost. I think anyone can get them for like $60. SmokinRice got the same one.

I was starting to wonder about this because of the Y before and after the intercoolers It just seems to reason that less piping might be better.

Texas Rear Turbos sells them on the main board, or you can find them on ebay. There are severle diffrent names they are sold under, but it's the same intercooler. You do have to notch the insides of the frame for them to fit, but all that part of the frame is doing is holding up the bumper.

i asume after getting an intercooler i could pulley it down to maybe 8psi or is that overkill for such a small blower?
