Intercooler w/ fan
#1
I'm preping things for my SC install and it looks like my intercooler may not get that much air circulation through it. So I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of anyone putting a fan on theirs? I am aware of the mist kits but I'm thinking that a fan might do a pretty good job without the expense of filling a bottle.

It will really depend on just how little air flow you are getting across your intercooler. The fans will serve no purpose at all when not under boost. Under boost, where it's needed, the fans could actually become more of a restriction than anything. It certainly wont hurt to try it, but I would check the IAT' before and after.
I could see this being a benifit to the heat exchanger on a air/water setup, but just dont see it being worth it on air/air, unless the intercooler is placed where it literally is getting NO air flow across it.

I just finshed a dual efan setup on a set of dual H/E'ers, should be a good setup in traffic and in the staging lanes
