We are about to do a couple of these thing this week. Bigger pump, going with a Meziere water pump, larger reservoir. Then going to see if that helps some of the temps we are seeing on this truck. The pump on the truck right now to me is barely moving any water.

I replaced the stock exchanger with the CTS-V exchanger (2x stock size) and kept the stock pump. Temps ran the same but came down faster. Now with the TVS temps run consistant 8* over ambient and don't rise very much wot.

lol, call Joe@leftcoast for prices (or Magnuson) I don't recall the part $. Some custom bracketry will be required to fit it as well.

Holding the price you paid close to the vest eh? C'mon! Was it more than $150.00.

yep it's more than 150, by quite a bit... I installed a h/e out of the GMT900 truck kit / TBSS kit in mine, you just have to build a couple of drop down brackets for the bottom and a couple L brackets for the top, then remove the plastic divider behind the bumper to let the excess hang down a bit. Mounts in the same location as the little one for the GMT800 trucks. Seems strange that your bosch pump was hardly moving the coolant, the one on my GMC was like a hose pipe and expect this one to be the same. Only thing to worry about would be resonance time, without enough time to swap the heat from the water to the air you will be losing efficiency of the exchanger. Good luck.
