Default Intercooler Pump problem

Serviced my truck today at work and noticed while my truck was running the intercooler pump was not circulating. vehicle has 49000miles with the maggie on it.

Checked the fuse
power to the fuse
power to and from the relay
power to the pump connector

I smacked the pump with my hand and it starts to run, then when i cycle the key it dose not turn on until i smack the pump agean. Does this sound like a bad pump to you guy? Is it ok to drive staying out of boost until i can order the pump from magnuson Monday morning? does any one know how much they run? Thank you

Sounds like a bad pump to me. How old is your kit? It's probably under warranty still. Joe warrantied one out for me that was 2 1/2 years old once.

Kit has been on the truck for 5 years. Do you know how long they warranty it for?

Ah, you probably won't get much help from them. The warranty is 3 years I believe. If you bought it from one of our sponsors, they often give "a little extra" if you understand what I'm saying.

I think the Lightning intercooler pump is the same. I've replaced both, but never put them side by side. I know they look exactly the same, and the electrical connector is the same.

Here's the pump for the MagnaCharger. I think they are on ebay also.

It will be fine without the pump, I ran mine without the intercooler even hooked up for a few weeks without issues.
