Default Intercooler Kit?

I finally got my Vortech supercharger installed and I am pretty happy with it. It's on a stock 5.3l with a custom tune. After looking around, it looks like everyone says that it is definitely worth getting an intercooler kit too. I am not sure exactly what kit to use, or where to order from. Any suggestions? THANKS FOR ANY AND ALL THE HELP!!! -JOSH-

i used vortecs maxcooler.air to water.it is very expensive tho.im pretty sure u can get a a/w much cheaper tho in a diff brand .i just went with vortecs because i thought it would be smart to use common names.from whaat ive learned tho is i could of went with other brands and got the same gains.1900.for the vortec kit and i think around 1200 or so for other kits similar.u will be needing 1 for sure .and u should also get some meth also that will help significantly i saw a huge diff immediatly with both.u also can get air to air ,for much less money ,but weigh out the differenses b4 u buy .its a very important investment and u wont regret it .my vortec was real hot and pulling timing bigtime..pm me if u have any questions.good luck.if u plan on racing 1 advantage with a/w is u can add ice and timing .lol

We build intercooler kits, air to air or air to water. Depending on how you want to run tubing etc.
Drops us a line if we can help.

I am not sure which one to go with, Air to Air or Air to Water, I don't need it for racing, just for driving on the street. -JOSH-

I always vote for the simpler-is-better option when it is offered. I know that everybody has no problems with their A to W systems, but they still need to be at least checked on occasionally. One bonus of A to W is the ability to add ice for dragstrip day.

I've run air to air on all of my boosted vehicles, lil simpler to setup and has been effective given a properly sized core and inlet/outlets

An air to air would be good for the street. I would just spec it out correctly. I use only bell intercooler cores and have had good success with them.
