so i guess 35 on the gap is the best. any other suggestions? thanks for all the feedback.

Leave The New Tensoiner Bracket Off Until Manifold Is On.it Is Alot Easier To Get Manifold On That Way.instructions Tell You Put Tensioner On Before Manifold.

****. taking my time. should be thru first thing in the morning. everythings going ok. i had to take the heads off to put the new head gaskets on so thats why im not already done.

I doubt that swapping gaskets was really necessary. I was running the radix just fine on 10.5:1 CR, so do lots of the vette guys. Sure. lower CR would make a difference, but how much lower is it going to be just from a gasket change? I'd rather have a tighter quench than lower CR.
