Default Installed Vortech Supercharger no power!!??? HELP

I just got done doing an install of a new Vortech Supercharger on my 2001 GMC Yukon 5.3L.

I could not tell any power difference once so ever! Infact it almost feels slower. Before with just a Diablo Predator it would atleast spin the tires around the corner. Now it will barely get out of its own way. Anyone have any suggestions on what the problem may be?? I am stumped and vortech is closed until after the new year!

it is spooling yes, Are the vortech chargers supposed to be noisy, by that I mean can you hear the gears turning pretty loudly?

my procharger is noisy at idle. Are you sure the belt isn't slipping?

Does it have a bypass or blowoff valve?I'd start there it sounds like you are not getting any boost.

I do not have a boost gauge, we took off the blow off valve and turned it around, we disconnected it and started the engine and it was blowing plenty of air.

you need to get some gauges on that sucker so you know whats going on. Its like exploring a cave without a flashlight, you need to see whats happening to know how to fix it. Boost gauge is where i would start too, need to see if its building boost.

Yes get a boost guage. If you are not making any boost then it will not feel any faster. Dont get discouraged when it is set up correctly you WILL feel a difference.

Make sure your blower has oil in it.
