Default innovators west 8 rib conversion is a nightmare!

Guys i cant for the life of me figure out why i cant keep a belt on after my 8 rib and 10% OD install.. pulleys are lined up well idle and blip but as soon as i load it good it shreds the belt machined down the procharger bracket spacer as well. It has a reichard racing 3.4 pulley on it as well. Even tried a 6 rib(115") belt. Ran good normal and spirited driving... soon as i gave it a good hit. The 6 rib even ate some ribs. So far ive tried a 8 rib 114.5" and shredded it. Machined the spacer so it wouldn't rub under load, then tried a 6 rib 115".... originally have a 113 before the 8 rib on stock crank. Im about to try an 8 rib 113"

Have you laser aligned it? The 8 rib is a bit of a pain in the ***... I guarantee its an alignment issue. Shredding that quickly the most likely culprit is the blower itself. Its the only one outside of the balancer that would have that much force on it.

Use a straight edge and measure from the belt to the straight edge, not the edge of the pulley. Everything should be in plane of the crank pulley.

That's most likely your biggest issue.

I found a flat piece of steel to work better than the laser tool.
