5th Gen refers to a Radix. At least the 112, so I see the 122 as the same generation. The 122 seemed like it was to appease those who couldn't wait for TVS series, or was that the 122HH. TVS are a 6th gen, both 1900 & 2300.
And most TVS have a checkerboard weave pattern, the Radix had single lines, in most everything I saw. A prototype could be different, not sure Maggie would let a proto get out, who knows tho.

It is true that some TVS1900's are silver, and have a J-tube. However, that picture in the ad shows a MP112 unit, not the TVS1900.

That Ebay unit looks identical to my TVS1900, 90MM j-tube and all! Look at the top of the blower. The TVS models are flatter on top than the 112-122's.

Its used. And it looks like a 112. So that isnt a bad price but not some insane deal either.

Just to try clearing up the confusion in this thread....

This is what a TVS1900 with j-tube looks like.

This pic is from the ad in the OP.

The blower from the ad is a pic of a used Radix MP112.

The ebay pic is of a MP112. Couple of give always is that is doesn't have the quick change pulley and it has the EVAP solenoid mount on the front of the tub.
