ATI will rebuild a P1 into a D1 for like $1600, used head units go for anywhere between 12-1500, depending on condition and whether its polished or not.

is a trade for a set of TFS225 heads/springs/pushrods and a new cam a fair trade for a procharger setup? i would be running this through a blow through carb.
i have seen a ls1 with heads/cam make 730rwhp with a p1sc. on 11psi

According to the chart on Prochargers website the only difference between the P1 and D1 is that the D1 flows slightly more CFM.

D1 = 1400 max cfm, 32psi max boost, 62000 max impeller rpm

P1 = 1200 max cfm, 32psi max boost, 62000 max impeller rpm
