But you are also making more boost with more cubes. That has to count for something.

I know the 6.0 will make more HP, it has alot better heads. But I can't see more than 40-50HP, and that is going to be from the better cyl heads. It will however make alot more torque, and make it sooner. Either way the 80E with it's high 1st gear, and heavy parts robbs most of your gains. But it shifts soo good!

Draw back is that you need an additional 3-4 to get your sealevel HP back. The cool IAT helps also. How much boost, and timing are you running down there? Thanks, J
Sorry, been working. I am at 9lbs. and I am told 18 degs timing. The temps do make a difference, I only went 8.11 at 88 deg. outdoor temps. vs. 7.64 at 44 deg temps. with no changes.

Default T76 vs T66

I just swapped the T66 for a T76 that I had lying around for another project, and all I can say is WOW! At the same 12~13 psi there is a big difference. My AFR has came off RICH and read 10.5 for the 1st time. That just shows how much more air the 76 moves @ the same psi. I just couldn't help myselfe and had to give it a little twist and see what 16psi would do. The thing is about dangerous. It breaks loose @ 25-30mph in 4wd, and tries to yank the wheel back and forth. Now no one will ride with me now so it's difficult to get a log.(piece of **** vista) It's hard to watch the road, AFR, boost gauge, and computer all at the same time, with all that going on. I did get 6 deg of KR at the top of 2nd beg of 3rd. Power fell off big, it did it once getting on it @ 40mph even before boost came in. Also did it a few times last week at 12PSI. I can't hear any det at all. The AFR is 10.9-11.2 @ wot. The T76 ripps, but the lag is horrific. Takes like 3 full sec to spool, then all **** breaks loose.

Got any other parts laying around that you might want to give me?

Well that is a good real world test right there. Now go buy a bigger turbo and do it again...lol

I did order a .68AR housing today. That knuckle pisses me off, thats what happens trying to work with cold hands. Started bleeding while I was asleep. Got blood everywhere. Starting to hurt now, couldn't feel anything when I did it.

Stock48 - I know this is going back a while, but did you ever figure out was was causing the knock retard. I'm seeing the same issue with mine, its pulling 6-8 degrees of time on me at WOT?
