You can run the ls6 springs, ls6/1 stock push rods, but alot of guys step up to hardened rods when doing any cam swap.. 7.35''s

Okay. Thanks for the advice. I'll look into it.

It looks like there's a used LS6 cam on eBay for 220.00. At that price would it be better to go aftermarket? I'm looking for a very streetable setup.

Do a search on corvetteforums in the C5 classifieds. They pop up there all the time.

For example...

if it's a '02-'04 LS6 cam, it will have a 5308 stamped on it.

Looks exactly like this...

Okay, cool. Thanks!

Here's the pic the guy sent me.

He has really good trader reviews so I'm not worried to much.

Just be sure to go over that cam with a fine tooth comb.. Check for anything that you can feel on the lobes.. I would also consider polishing the lobes again, just to clean them up..

Okay. I'll call some machine shops and see how much it will cost to have the lobes polished.

Dammit. The guy just emailed me telling me it's a 2001 z06 cam. I wish he would have told me before I sent the payment.

Cam Specifications:

2001 LS6 cam
207/217 int/exh @ 0.05" duration
0.525" / 0.525" int/exh lift
116 LSA

2002+ LS6 cam
204/218 int/exh @ 0.05" duration
0.551" / 0.547" int/exh lift
117 LSA

What Procharger recommends:

Lobe separation: 112 to 116 degrees Split pattern: Exhaust duration and lift approximately 10 degrees and .010, respectively, greater than intake. Install cam straight up. Contact a cam manufacturer for lifts and durations that best suit your application.

What do you guys think? Should I still run it? Or put it on eBay or something?
