Default how much boost can my truck handle

ok went by the shop to check on my truck today hes almost done with cam swap.. just working on springs now.. also hes gonna put a 3.70 pulley... came with 4.00 on the 4.00 im making 8 psi.. procharger said the 3.70 would make 10 to 11 psi.. think this will be ok on my truck? the guy at the shop said he thinks it will be fine.. but i want to know what you guys think... mods are flowmaster exhaust true duel... procharger p1sc kit... 52lb injectors.. everything else is stock.. except for the blower cam he just installed.. springs and pushrods... so will my truck be ok with the new pulley?

Who's doing your tuning? It will be fine as long as the tune is good. And the tranny will go real quick if it's not built. If it's not, save yourself the headache and do an 80 swap. Those flows may hurt performance as well. I know on turbo apps people have lost a bunch of hp with flows.

tranny is bone stock... as for the tuner next level performance in orlando fl.. hes supose to be the best around... so what should i do with the flows? go true duels with no mufflers? cut the flows out and just weld pipe in place?

Would you PLEASE SEARCH stuff like this before posting????

You've made a lot of "uneducated" choices and I'd say you've gotten lucky thus far.... You need to do a lot more homework before you bail off into any f/i build. Even if its going to be "simple"... I know that questions like "how much boost" come up every couple days it seems....

I wouldn't have paid the money for a blower or a cam without knowing what it and my vehicle were both capable of... Do you even have headers on that truck??

Sorry if I'm coming off harsh, but these sorts of repetitive inquiries get old....

Put some magnaflow stainless mufflers on it , straight thru and sound good.
can't help on the boost level, but if you beat on it the tranny will fail, will last awhile
if you are not enjoying boost.

yep, above post is a bit harsh

I know what Silver-mod-o is talking about, Theres tons of threads about "will my motor handle a xxx Shot?" or "how much boost will my motor hold"

Just search for yourself..

it will hold 12# boost just fine, Your injectors might be maxed out tho.. Trans is goin to hate you, I didnt see headers in your mod list.

with FI you need to have the supporting mods to handle it...like header's with an exhaust that flows well, the injectors that can handle it, the tranny to hold it...etc, etc...

search around im sure you will find lots and lots of good info on everything, and make sure the tune is spot on

Are you getting it tuned before you drive it with the new cam and pulley?
