how much airflow does a FMIC need to be efficient

I'm looking at bumper options for the 95. Its going to have a 24 x 12 x 4 intercooler mounting from the bottom of the core support between the frame rails. The best stock bumper I can find is the 6.5 diesel truck bumper with the two big holes in it but they will only cover the outer edges of the intercooler. Opinions?

Not a lot, you not making heat and in boost a lot so it's more just a big heat sink with plenty of time to cool off between boosted episodes. This is all I have and it works great!

I just noticed you aren't utilizing the lower mounts on your intercooler. I'm guessing its mounted off the core support somehow but what keeps it from rocking back and forth? I am using 99+ NBS truck radiator mount grommets and bushings to mount mine. I've got a big collection of those and they look like they will fit perfectly. I am mounting mine to the bottom of the core support and picked up some 2 inch wide by 1/8 inch thick flat metal to bend up that goes from frame rail to frame rail and right across the bottom of the intercooler with two more grommets to help support the weight of it and keep it from rocking. I thought the rubber grommets would be better since one end is mounted to the front clip and the other to the frame and there easily could be some flexing in there.

Pick one or the other. Having two movable points will in time tear a mount.
If goning to the frame just make your support solid.
If going to the core support you can route your lower hangers back up. Or don't worry about the lower. Once you get all the couplers am tubing inplace it will
be pretty solid.
