I am getting ready to start modding my 02 GMC ECSB Z71 and I am thinking of going with a D1SC and I am curious to how loud one is. I have a fried with a F1R and its extremely loud(which is OK ) and I am sure the D1SC is not as loud but how much noise does it make? Thanks

Mine is pretty loud! There is no hideing that my truck is supercharged. Great sound though. Almost sounds like a turbo.

 

That's kind of what I want. I have a 87 Grand National that runs 10.70's and I have had turbo Buicks since the early 90's so I fully believe in the power potential of turbos but I really want something different so that's why I am thinking of a supercharger. I am also considering a stout 408 with nitrous.

 

Get a stout 408 and a procharger and nitrous!

 

Mines also loud. Like said, you can't hide that its supercharged. Everyone at work just loves the sound.

 

Yep, it's loud. One of my friends could hear me 4 cars behind him while driving along on the interstate No hiding a Procharger

 

I bet it sounds pure evil

A couple of the newer ones Really are pretty docile till you open them up. I have a couple guys local to me running em. I have mine on the shelf ready to go. But I want to go as fast as I can NA first

 

Nice whistle at idle, nothing like a f-1 though.
