Did you bore your 4.8 into a 5.3 and use forged pistons, billet rods, etc. in order to be able to increase boost?

No I just swap out the 4.8 for the 5.3 because of the crank, it was not the right size for the 6 speed. I put the 317 (6.0) heads on the stock 5.3 to lower the compression.
